Hong Kong, April 2, 2026 – Advanced Card Systems (ACS), a global leader in identification and payment technologies, proudly announces a major step with its NFC readers achieving Smartphone Compatibility for My Number Card.
The My Number Card is a Japanese government issued ID for each resident to access government services, healthcare, taxes systems, and official records. Since April 2026, five ACS NFC reader models - WalletMate II, AquaGuard, ACR1552U, ACR1555U, and ACR1581U have passed compliance testing for the Smartphone My Number Card, further strengthening their role in Japan’s evolving digital identification ecosystem.

With this new certification, users can now conveniently access government and healthcare online services anytime, anywhere using their Smartphone My Number Card through ACS NFC readers.
